I know that a lot of people here are overweight and that many are very health conscious but 'evaporated cane juice' on the list of ingredients? Since when did sugar become a dirty word? Particularly when so much here is loaded with high fructose corn syrup, which quite frankly tastes revolting.

Wow, that map thing is quite scary! Serious tonnage wandering around. I think if you need sweetness, sugar is the thing, not a pretend manufactured chemical. You just have to exercise a modicum of control over consuming the stuff. (note to self, no more cake today)
A-men, sister! HFCS is feral! I refuse to imbibe anything with it in it. Thank heavens that Oz is wheat based (and coming from a wheat-free person that means a lot) - less corn to derive HFCS from! Have you read the Omnivore's Dilemma?
Amen, Amen!
